A Window into My World!

How it all Began...

 

My 1st memory of being excited by colours & the possibility of what can be created on a blank sheet of paper was when I was very young... loving the smell & colours of crayons, drawing & day dreaming!

     I remember the excitement I felt using poster paints at school & the magic I felt when I discovered all

the depths of tone a simple pencil could create!

 

I came to know that those experiences in my early, formative years would continue to bring me the Wonder of Possibility & the Restoration of My Spirit throughout the years to come!

This became so true...

Following the sudden Passing of my Father when I was 10yrs old, My Escape into my Creativity increased... 

I spent many hours expressing my emotions in drawings & paintings ... I was in "My Own World" ...

I was Soothing myself  & I know now, during this time, I was also learning my Craft...

  Lifes Twists &Turns...

I continued to develop my skills throughout Grammar school to A Level... loving my Art classes, studying various mediums & subjects. However, I remember feeling uneasy & not being able to really explore what wanted to ... I felt restricted in my work...

    The "Plan" was to go to Art College, however, deep down I always had a Strong desire to "be a Nurse" 

    & this won in the end!

    My reasoning was "if I only pursue my Art, that's all I'll be able to do...if I train as a Nurse,

    I'll always be able to do both!"... And that's exactly how it's all worked out!

Therefore, I'm self taught but I've continued to study & take courses of interest over the subsequent years. I've been commissioned to do pieces both large & small for private collections & have shown in local Galleries. 

As well as juggling my career & raising my 2 sons, I was keen to learn more about & train in

Eastern Healing modalities...working with "Everything is Energy!"... Now My Art work Reflects this too!

Collectors say they can "Feel this Uplifting Energy Flowing", to them & their surroundings!

My Creativity is continually Inspired from the Beauty & Ebb & Flow in Nature, & Life itself!

The "Bigger Picture" of the Cosmos, the Multiverses & all that is Eternally evolving around us, has always Fascinated me & continues to evoke an indescribable Internal feeling of Connection & Knowing!
